Kicking off the holiday season our 2nd Annual Kitchen Essentials Gift Guide! These are all products that we literally use allllll the time in our kitchen. It’s the kitchen appliances and gadgets you see me using on Instagram Stories or the website, everyday. Some are big ticket items but they are brands and products that I can personally attest to using, and some of them have been in our kitchen for 25 years (!), so a good investment! Others are fun-to-have and stocking stuffers. And no better time than the holidays to grab one of these for yourself and ask for one as a gift because so many sales are happening now!
Last Fall, I started videotaping myself as I cooked and sharing my recordings on Instagram Stories to show you how easy my recipes really are. I have been slowly adding these videos to the website now too!
Along the way, I give simple cooking and baking tips I’ve learned over the years from my mother, my grandmother, my aunt and just from experience. And I’ve been sharing my kitchen and kitchen tools with you.
Each day, I answer direct messages about specific products and brands we love.
So last year I created our first annual Kitchen Essentials Holiday Guide… a guide with links to purchase our favorite kitchen tools.
Disclosure: many of the links below are Amazon affiliate links. That means that I receive a small percentage of the purchase, which helps fund the cost associated with this website, but it does not affect your cost at all.
Note: because the links are with Amazon, prices and availability are subject to change.
A few links are to Williams Sonoma and Crate and Barrel, and these are not affiliate links.
The products in this guide are all products that we literally use allllll the time in our kitchen. It’s the kitchen appliances and tools you see me using on videos everyday.
Some are big ticket items but they are brands and products that I can personally attest to using, and some of them have been in our kitchen for 25 years (!), so a good investment!
Others are fun to have and stocking stuffers.
And no better time than the holidays to grab one for yourself and ask for one as a gift because so many sales are happening now!
Our Kitchen Essentials
Kitchen Aid Classic Stand Mixer
We’ve owned the Kitchen Aid Classic Stand Mixer for 25 years! The updated version of the one we own is currently out of stock on Amazon, so linking an fun Bordeaux color Kitchen Aid Artisan Stand Mixer I have my eye on!
It is literally my favorite kitchen appliance, and one we use practically every day.
It is great mixing everything from pancake batter to cookie dough to quiche fillings to stuffed potato fillings.
The model we own has been updated many times, but it is a version of this classic one.
Amazon seems to be going in and out of stock on them so linking to Williams Sonoma (non-affiliate link) because they have a great price, colors and are in stock!
Cuisinart Food Processor
This 11 cup Cuisanart Food Processor has also been part of our kitchen for nearly 25 years!
It is one of those appliances that we don’t use every day but we use at least once a week, often more.
We use it to chop nuts for recipes, to make some of our bliss balls, to make hummus, to make Mexican Rice… you get the idea. We use it for so many of our everyday recipes.
While we have a smaller one (see below), this 11 cup size is what we need very often to hold a full recipe.
NutriBullet High Speed Blender
If you watch my Instagram Stories, you see the smoothies I make every morning for my son for breakfast. And guess what? I make them in this NutriBullet!
This is the model my mother and brother both own, so my family purchased one for me a few years ago and we now use it every day. Sometimes, twice a day because we use it for so many salad dressings as well!
And we couldn’t be happier!
It works so well and blends all our frozen fruits into the best smoothies!
You can grab it at a great price on Amazon.com.
Cuisinart Mini Prep Plus Food Processor
This is a small version of the larger Cuisinart Food Processor above.
We leave it on the counter and use it when we need to chop things like nuts for recipes.
It is helpful to not have to take out a big food processor when we just need something small chopped.
It’s a great value and can be found at Amazon.com
Le Creuset Dutch Oven
We LOVE this Le Creuset Dutch Oven!
It was our first (and one of our only), Le Creuset pots and we couldn’t be happier!
It is a 5.5 quart and it is perfect for sauces, soups and our Mexican Rice!
It is made of enameled cast iron and it distributes and retains heat really well.
It also works stove top to oven which is such a nice feature for so many dishes.
We love it so much we hope to purchase some more Le Creuset cookware ourselves!
We put on our wish list this year this smaller 2.75 quart Le Creuset because we look the larger size so much!
Williams Sonoma (non affiilate link) has the 2.5 quart Le Creuset on a deep discount right now!
Green Pan Ceramic Non-Stick Fry Pans
This is a set of 8 and 10 inch fry pans.
We’ve owned our set for over a year and we use them every day!
We use them to make eggs for breakfast, heat up roasted veggies for lunch, make pancakes, grilled cheese, stir fries and everything in between!
We’ve been really pleased with how well they heat up and clean up!
Get the set on Amazon.com
All Clad Pans
We love All Clad Stainless Steel Cookware. We’ve owned some pieces for nearly 25 years!
This 12 inch fry pan is a great size and pan for cooking up lots of vegetables, rice and pasta dishes.
And the cover really comes in handy when you want to speed up cooking!
You can find it currently on Amazon.com on a great deal!
We also own and recommend the 10 and 12 inch Stainless Steel Frying Pan Set which is currently on a great deal at Amazon.com.
Calphalon Grill Pan and Griddle
We don’t use these two pans every day but we use them a lot!
The Grill Pan is especially great if either you don’t have access to a grill or in the winter months when you don’t want to use an outdoor grill.
It works great for cooking meats or vegetables and getting those grill marks!
And the Griddle is our favorite pan for making pancakes, french toast and the like.
It heats and cleans really well!
Wusthof Gourmet Knife Set
Last but certainly not least, I’m sharing the Wusthof Gourmet Knife Sets...
A great knife set is one of the best investments you can make if you cook a lot.
It makes chopping, dicing, cutting so much easier….
There are many amazing brands but we love the Wusthof brand just because we use it every day.
I’m linking to several sets because the deals on Amazon keep changing.

New this year, I’m adding some fun to have items that we don’t use every day but love!
Pizza Stone and Pizza Peel
We originally purchased this for homemade pizza but we now use it for frozen pizza as well and it really makes a difference!
With the pizza stone, even frozen pizzas cook and taste better!
And the pizza peel is necessary to get the pizza out of the oven.
Cuisanart Panini Press
This obviously isn’t an essential but we love having an panini press!
Most gluten-free bread tastes better toasted in our opinion and this is a simple way to toast and heat up any sandwich making it super tasty!
This Cuisanart panini press is the one we have in our kitchen and it is easy to use and makes the best paninis!
Farberware Classic Double Boiler
Once you have your basic pots and pans, this double boiler is a great add. It is really the best way to melt chocolate so if you’re making homemade candies and cookies with chocolate, I can’t recommend this enough.
Also new this year, adding a few stocking stuffers!
Not sure if anyone else loves getting new kitchen gadgets in their stocking but I sure do!
The more you cook, the more “nice to have” items there are so sharing a few that we actually use quite often!
We use this cookie scoop for everything from cookies to muffins to dinner rolls!
A kitchen cooking thermometer is useful in so many dishes from cinnamon rolls to dinner rolls to meats!
A sushi mat/ kit is super fun and the best inspiration to start making sushi rolls! Plus it’s under $10!
Plus lots of you love my kitchen spoons with the stainless steel handle and silicone tips. I purchased them at Sur la Table years ago and can’t find them, but did find something similar at Crate and Barrel (non-affiliate link) in a fun pink!
Hope you love all of these as much as we do!
Tell me…. what are your favorite kitchen tools?
