Background

Late August/ Early September, I started videotaping myself as I cooked and sharing my recordings on Instagram Stories to show you how easy my recipes really are.

Along the way, I give simple cooking and baking tips I’ve learned over the years from my mother, my grandmother, my aunt and just from experience.  And I’ve been sharing my kitchen and kitchen tools with you.

Each day, I answer direct messages about specific products and brands we love.  So about a month ago, I asked if anyone would be interested in blog post about our favorite kitchen tools.  The answer was a resounding “Yes!” with 91% respondents saying they’d be interested.

So here is my gift to you… a guide with links to purchase our favorite kitchen tools.

Full Disclosure: the links below are Amazon affiliate links. That means that I receive a small percentage of the purchase, which helps fund the cost associated with this website, but it does not affect your cost.

The products in this guide are all products that we literally use allllll the time in our kitchen. It’s the kitchen appliances you see me using on Instagram Stories everyday.

Our Kitchen Essentials

Kitchen Aid Classic Stand Mixer

Kitchen Essentials Gift Guide #glutenfreerecipes www.healthygffamily.comWe’ve owned the Kitchen Aid Classic Stand Mixer for 25 years!

It is literally my favorite kitchen appliance, and one we use practically every day.

It is great mixing everything from pancake batter to cookie dough to quiche fillings to stuffed potato fillings.

The model we own has been updated many times, but it is a version of this classic one.

Currently on deep sale on Amazon.com.

Here’s another similar Kitchen Aid  model but in other colors.

Cuisinart Food Processor

Kitchen Essentials Gift Guide #glutenfreerecipes www.healthygffamily.com

This 11 cup Cuisanart Food Processor has also been part of our kitchen for nearly 25 years!

It is one of those appliances that we don’t use every day but we use at least once a week, often more.

We use it to chop nuts for recipes, to make some of our bliss balls, to make hummus, to make Mexican Rice… you get the idea. We use it for so many of our everyday recipes.

And while we have a smaller one (see below), this 11 cup size is what we need very often to hold a full recipe.

The chrome one is currently on sale on Amazon.com, but they keep switching it up, so keep checking!

NutriBullet High Speed Blender

Kitchen Essentials Gift Guide #glutenfreerecipes www.healthygffamily.comIf you watch my Instagram Stories, you see the smoothies I make every morning for my son for breakfast. And guess what? I make them in this NutriBullet!

This is the model my mother and brother both own, so my family purchased one for me this summer and we now use it every day. Sometimes, twice a day.

And we couldn’t be happier!

It works so well and blends all our frozen fruits into the best smoothies!

You can grab it at a great price on Amazon.com.

Cuisinart Mini Prep Plus Food Processor

Kitchen Essentials Gift Guide #glutenfreerecipes www.healthygffamily.comThis is a small version of the larger Cuisinart Food Processor above.

We leave it on the counter and use it when we need to chop things like nuts for recipes.

It is helpful to not have to take out a big food processor when we just need something small chopped.

It’s currently on a great deal at Amazon.com

Le Creuset Dutch Oven

Kitchen Essentials Gift Guide #glutenfreerecipes www.healthygffamily.comWe LOVE this Le Creuset Dutch Oven!

It was our first (and one of our only), Le Creuset pots and we couldn’t be happier!

It is a 5.5 quart and it is perfect for sauces, soups and our Mexican Rice!

It is made of enameled cast iron and it distributes and retains heat really well.

It also works stove top to oven which is such a nice feature for so many dishes.

We love it so much we hope to purchase some more Le Creuset cookware ourselves!

It comes in lots of fun colors and is currently on deal on Amazon.com

Green Pan Ceramic Non-Stick Fry Pans

Kitchen Essentials Gift Guide #glutenfreerecipes www.healthygffamily.com

This is a set of 8 and 10 inch fry pans.

We’ve owned our set for over a year and we use them every day!

We use them to make eggs for breakfast, heat up roasted veggies for lunch, make pancakes, grilled cheese and everything in between!

We’ve been really pleased with how well they heat up and clean up!

Get the set on Amazon.com

All Clad Pans

Kitchen Essentials Gift Guide #glutenfreerecipes www.healthygffamily.com

We love All Clad Stainless Steel Cookware. We’ve owned some pieces for nearly 25 years!

This 12 inch fry pan with cover is a great size and pan for cooking up lots of vegetables, rice and pasta dishes.

And the cover really comes in handy when you want to speed up cooking!

You can find it currently on Amazon.com on a great deal!

We also own and recommend the 10 and 12 inch Stainless Steel Frying Pan Set which is currently on a great deal at Amazon.com.

Calphalon Grill Pan and Griddle

We don’t use these two pans every day but we use them a lot!

We love our Calphalon Grill Pan and Calphalon Griddle.

The Grill Pan is especially great if either you don’t have access to a grill or in the winter months when you don’t want to use an outdoor grill.

It works great for cooking meats or vegetables and getting those grill marks!

And the Griddle is our favorite pan for making pancakes, french toast and the like.

It heats and cleans really well!

You can get the grill pan here and the griddle here. Both are great values!

Wusthof Gourmet Knife Set

Last but certainly not least, I’m sharing the Wusthof Gourmet Knife Sets...

A great knife set is one of the best investments you can make if you cook a lot.

It makes chopping, dicing, cutting so much easier….

There are many amazing brands but we love the Wusthof brand just because we use it  every day.

I’m linking to several sets because the deals on Amazon keep changing.

Right now, there is an amazing deal on the 10 piece set, there’s also a 7 piece set and a 12 piece set that includes steak knives.

  1. Thank you once again for your awesomeness! This is a great guide!!! I LOVE my kitchen aid stand mixer so much – definitely my favorite appliance! I’ve had mine for over 21 years now and even though they’ve modernized a few features since then it works just as well, no need to replace it! I’ve always wanted a griddle pan for pancakes as I just can’t seem to get them right in a frying pan! This is perfect thank you!! I do want to try to use my food processor more often, I tend to forget it even though it’s sitting right on my counter and always has been! 🙂

    1. Aw, thank you so much! So happy you’re enjoying this! And I love that you’ve had your kitchen aid forever too! Isn’t it the best?! We’ve been really happy with the griddle– for whatever reason, it makes much better pancakes than a frying pan. And I hear ya, on the food processor… I keep mine in a cabinet and don’t use is as often as the kitchen aid but it still serves me well with recipes like our Mexican Rice. Lmk if you get the griddle 🙂
