UPPER WEST SIDE, NEW YORK CITY
Classic Italian pasta-centric menu; gluten-free menu; casual neighborhood restaurant
Pappardella is a neighborhood restaurant on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. We first discovered it when we would visit the Museum of Natural History and needed a place to eat afterwards but now we make trips there because my son loves it! They have a full gluten-free menu offering nearly everything on the regular menu, and they have protocols in place to prepare gluten-free food.
My son orders the same thing every time: Garlic bread (so good!), pasta with tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella, and the warm chocolate flourless cake (one of the best we’ve every eaten). The food is consistent, reliable and really yummy so we keep going back! I also love the outside dining option, weather permitting.
