This simple gluten-free smoothie is nourishing, satisfying and delicious! Perfect for breakfast or snack, it's adaptable to tastes. Personal recommendation: add in the ginger for the best flavor!

Serves: 1 12oz smoothie
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries (for a slightly larger smoothie, use a heaping cup)
  • 1 fresh banana
  • ¾ cup to 1 cup almond milk (or milk of choice) (for a slightly larger smoothie use 1 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (or nut or seed butter of choice)
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • ¼ in - 1½ inch piece of ginger (optional but recommended, start with a small piece and add more to tastes)
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender according to your blender's instructions.
  2. Blend until smooth.
