Everything tastes better with tahini dressing!

Anyone else travel with lots of food? We always bring snacks when we travel but for a long flight, I also bring a meal.  This bowl is a macrobiotic bowl from one of my favorite local stores, Organic Market.  It’s lentils, steamed kale and peas, roasted sweet potatoes, seaweed salad, steamed brown rice and the yummiest tahini dressing!

The owners were kind enough to let me share the tahini dressing recipe and the seaweed salad ingredients (full recipe coming soon, I ran out of time!) so that you can enjoy this bowl too!

Tahini Dressing
  • 16 oz Tahini
  • 8 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 8 oz water
  • a pinch of salt or to taste
  • 1 tsp crushed garlic
Seaweed Salad
  • Seaweed
  • Sautéed onion
  • gluten-free tamari
  • toasted sesame oil
  • brown rice vinegar
  • Ume plum vinegar
  • hot sesame pepper
  • carrots
Tahini Dressing
  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and mix until smooth.
  2. Make a large quantity.
