Craving all the Veggies!

I spent the day testing holiday recipes (i.e. Eating all day!) and want nothing more for dinner than this veggie plate I made over the weekend.  It was packed with all my favorite crunchy veggies – carrots, cucumbers, radishes, peppers, snap peas and broccoli, Jilz Crackers, creamy avocado, a few olives just because I love them (!), and two dips … Asian Edamame Hummus and Lemony Tahini Sauce.

The edamame hummus is edamame, lime zest and lime juice, sesame oil, mayo, gluten-free tamari, ginger, white miso paste and wasabi, it’s savory, creamy and a perfect match to veggies. Depending on your tastes can have just a little kick with extra wasabi and ginger.

The Lemony Tahini Sauce is creamy, savory and packed with flavor! It’s just tahini, garlic, fresh lemon juice and sea salt but the proportions are just right.

The boys love when I recipe test because not only do they get to try all the food, but then they can eat what they’d like for dinner… my son opted to make homemade mac and cheese ! Just a little different from the Veggie Plate I ate….
