Dressed Up Apples make the best snack! We literally eat them any time of day — they are a quick and easy, packed with nutrients and really yummy.

I love that  they are totally adaptable to individual tastes or mood.  Just slice an apple, top it with any nut or seed butter and any toppings…. the possibilities are endless.

These are topped with Sun Butter sunflower seed butter, Enjoy Life Foods mini chips, walnuts, gogi berries and shredded coconut.

Dressed Up Apples

Dressed Up Apples are one of our favorite quick and easy snacks. Completely adaptable to individual tastes or mood, they are packed with nutrients and delicious.
Course: Breakfast, Snacks

  • Green or Red Apples sliced about 1/4 inch thick
  • Any Nut or Seed Butter we used Sun Butter here but also love Barney Butter Almond Butter and any natural peanut butter or casher butter

Topping ideas

  • Chocolate chips we used Enjoy Life Foods Mini Chips
  • Walnuts
  • Gogi berries
  • Shredded coconut
  • Chia seeds
  • Hemp seeds
  • Raisins
  • Cranberries
  • Gluten-free granola
  • Honey or agave
  • Cinnamon
  • Nutella or other chocolate hazelnut spread
  • Tahini
  • Peanut Butter Chips


  • Slice Apples
  • Spread nut or seed butter over apples.
