The Mighty Meatless Burger, Take 3.
The search for perfect veggie burger continues, and this Lentil Tahini Burger with Pickled Cabbage and Tahini-Yogurt Sauce, recipe from Cooking Light is another good one!
Made with steamed vacuum-packed lentils, tahini, onions, carrots, cilantro and spices, the burger itself is vegan and really easy to make. Topped with a quick pickled cabbage and tahini-yogurt spread, it’s loaded with protein and bursting with flavor! My husband and I loved it though the boys still opted for regular burgers as I expected they might… but that’s ok, more for us this week..
The sauce could easily be made with non-dairy yogurt.
