Gluten-Free French Toast Casserole

Everything you love about traditional French toast, but baked in one pan with no fuss! Slightly crisp, golden edges, and an irresistibly soft and custardy inside.

- baguette - eggs - butter - granulated sugar - vanilla extract


Assemble at the at the last minute or make ahead, refrigerate overnight, and bake the next day. Perfect for busy mornings, weekends, or holidays.

Place cubed bread on a baking sheet so that they are not touching, and bake for 5–6 minutes until just toasted. Let cool.

In a large mixing bowl, add the flour and milk and whisk until well combined.

Add all remaining ingredients (except bread) to the bowl and whisk together.

Toss toasted and cooled gluten-free bread in the bowl, and using a spoon, mix so that they are all coated.

Coat the pan well with room-temperature butter; pour the bread and liquid mixture into the pan; cover with plastic wrap; and let it rest for 30 minutes.
