Homemade Peppermint Patties

For chocolate mint lovers everywhere! Just 5 ingredients, gluten-free and no bake, they are a homemade version of the classic candy and they are unbelievably delicious!

- sweetened condensed milk - confectioners’ sugar - peppermint extract - dark chocolate chips - coconut oil

Naturally gluten-free! And they are nut-free, egg-free and easily made dairy-free, making them perfect for many dietary needs and preferences.

Make the peppermint filling: using a stand or hand mixer, simply mix the confectioner’s sugar, sweetened condensed milk, and peppermint until it forms a stiff dough.

Roll out dough and cut out out peppermint patties using a 1 1/2 – 2 inch cookie cutter, and chill the peppermint patties.

Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together, using a double boiler ideally as it melts the chocolate evenly and keeps it warm and smooth.

Dip the chilled peppermints in the melted chocolate using fork, make sure they are fully coated and let any excess drip off.

Chill for an hour in the refrigerator. If topping with sprinkles, chill for 10-15 minutes, then add the sprinkles and return to the refrigerator to keep chilling.
